This is the UniChip version that gets soldered onto the vehicle’s harness. This version of the UniChip can be used on most cars, Turbo Diesel, Turbo Petrol and Normal Aspirated Vehicles
This is the Plug & Play version of the UniChip. This version is mostly only for popular Turbo Diesel vehicles.
With the UniChip comes the following options:
One Map option: With this option you choose one type of tuning you prefer. This is the most cost effective option.
Multimap Option: This option allows you to choose up to 5 maps (see below). The chosen maps are selected by rotary switch, membrane switch or bluetooth via smart phone.
Turbo Diesel Map Options:
Immobiliser: Helps to prevent vehicle from being stolen.
Standard: The same as original.
Economy: Best possible safe economy.
Towing: Safety added for extended full throttle driving.
Every day Power: Every day driving with power preference but economy at part throttle.
Play Power: Extra power for short duration events such as dune climbing.
Super Burst: Extreme power for very short duration. Controlled by Unichip timer.
Throttle Booster: Changes the throttle response. Can also be used to force economical driving.
Lower speed limiter: Lowers the speed limiter to prevent the driver from overspeeding.
Remove road speed limiter: Removes road speed limiter if originally installed by the manufacturer. Do so at your own risk.
Gear Control (Auto): Prevents gearbox from changing to lower gear unless really needed. Good for economy .
Restrictor Map: Lowers power, throttle response and limits road speed. Good for fleets.
Valet Map: Lowers rev limit and power.
RPM Limit: Lowers rev limiter.
High Idling: Raise idling speed for slow speed game viewing.
